Interested in yoga but feeling a little intimidated? Learn the basics of yoga with Robb in our Yoga 101 Beginner Yoga Academy.
Zero experience necessary, appropriate for all body types and fitness levels. Plan to wear comfortable workout type clothing, we have everything else needed.
The three-week series will cover:
- What to expect in a yoga class and of your teacher
- How to get the most out of your practice as a beginner
- How the use of props can improve your form and balance
- Learn about the various styles of yoga
- Basic poses with correct alignment
- Introduction to restorative yoga poses
- Introduction to the philosophy behind yoga
Classes in this series are an hour and a half in length and will involve lecture, Q&A, and learning various poses.
